Chicken stir-fry is a good weeknight dinner. The main thing is to have all the ingredients prepared so that the actual cooking is quick.

For a shortcut there is no problem using a packet of fresh stir-fry veges from the fruit & veg section or a bag of frozen stir-fry veges. You can also buy the chicken stir-fry strips already prepared for another time saver.

The Sensible Sisters prefer free range chicken.

Wedges with Sweet Chilli

Wedges are a popular choice when out with friends. You can order a bowl and share them at the table. Some people like to meet with work colleagues after work on a Friday evening for a glass of wine. They will then order some wedges. In some circles this is known as ‘the wedges and wine diet.’

As with most things, wedges are easily prepared at home and can of course be enjoyed with or without a glass of wine.
