Creamy Salmon Pasta

Fast pasta dishes are always a welcome addition to the menu.

Creamy Salmon Pasta


  • 1/2 packet of spirals or other short pasta
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 200 gram tin red salmon
  • 100 mls lite cream
  • zest and juice of a small lemon
  • dash of tabasco sauce
  • kalamata olives, seeded and capers to serve


  • Boil pasta
  • While pasta is cooking, open salmon and drain. Remove skin and bones and flake
  • Saute onion and add garlic
  • Add salmon, lemon zest and juice, cream and tabasco sauce
  • Warm sauce through and serve with olives and capers
  • Serve over cooked pasta with a green salad on the side
