Yummy Chocolate Balls

An easy treat that everyone loves! These can be made by children with a bit of help. Handy to take to ‘bring a plate functions’ for children and teenagers.

Yummy Chocolate Balls

  • 3 x packets scotch finger biscuits
  • 1 tin sweetened condensed skim milk
  • 125 grams butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup coconut
  • splash of milk (if required)
  • extra coconut to roll

  • Process biscuits into crumbs in food processor
  • Transfer to large bowl and combine with all other ingredients
  • Add splash of milk if required to bind mixture
  • Roll into balls and then roll in extra coconut
  • Place balls on tray and allow to set in fridge

Makes about 50 – 60 balls which sounds like a lot. However, if you are going to go to the trouble of making a batch, you might as well make enough for more than one per person! This is particularly so if taking them to a function such as school where you may have 30 children in a class to share with.

These also freeze well (not that there are normally any left to freeze!)…
