Falafels make a good vegetarian snack. If made at home they are not as dry as some that you can buy from  the deli or kebab shop. You can add these to wraps with salad or serve as nibbles when entertaining. This is also great dish if you have a vegan friend.

The trick with these is using a whole bunch of fresh parsley…

Bruschetta is very easy to make and the Sisters find that if you go to a cafe there is often too much onion in the mix!

Julia was speaking with a neighbour recently and discovered that this neighbour had not read Eat, Pray, Love. This neighbour told Julia that despite not having read the book or seen the movie, she was sick of the sight of Elizabeth Gilbert. The Sensible Sisters must start by stating that they feel as if they are the only people who have read the book who did not actually like it, much less find it ‘life changing’ which is how it has been widely described…
